Awards of the Royal Spanish Academy of Veterinary Sciences (RACVE)
Last January 2020, the annual event of the scientific awards took place in the Official College of Veterinarians of Madrid (COLVEMA). The entity responsible for this event is the Royal Spanish Academy of Veterinary Sciences (RACVE).
During this long-awaited event by all Spanish veterinarians, our colleague Francisco González Vega, veterinarian and Swine Product Manager at TEGASA, has been rewarded by the RACVE thanks to his work on “Antimicrobial activity of essential oils and organic acids on strains of Escherichia Coli with different mechanisms of resistance to colistin“.
This recognition is the reward to a great R&D project carried out by Francisco González and the TEGASA team over the last two and a half years with the collaboration of the Department of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Genetics of the University of Extremadura, to whom we also thank for their dedication in the project.
Thank you and congratulations!
